  • After 12 months of employment in the destination country, visa-free movement within the EU is allowed for up to 90 days; within a 180-day period. An EU Blue Card, valid passport, and proof of business purpose for the trip must be provided.
  1. Higher education related to the job position or with 3 years relevant experience;

  2. Minimum salary: €3,636 per month (gross, subject to variation);

  3. Employment contract: From 6 to 36 months.

  • Application processing time: Up to 90 days.

  • Validity: At least 24 months or the duration of the employment contract plus 3 months (but not more than 24 months).

 

  • Blue Card holders must seek approval to change jobs within the first year; after that, notification is sufficient.
  • Some public sector jobs are reserved for Cypriots and EU citizens.
  • Priority hiring for EU citizens remains in effect.
