Fast-Track Cyprus Citizenship for Highly Skilled Employees

Conditions of receipt

Valid Residence Permit Certificate of Greek Language Proficiency Legal Stay and Residency Requirements Accommodation

Candidates must hold one of the following types of permits: BCS in the categories of Director, Specialist, or Key Personnel; MEU1, MEU2, MEU3; UKW1, UKW2, UKW3, or Family Reunification permit (FR).

  • A B1 or A2 level certificate is required to participate in the fast-track citizenship program.
  • A certificate confirming knowledge of the basic elements of Cyprus' contemporary political and social reality (minimum 60%).
  • For a B1 level certificate, 1460 days of legal residence in Cyprus are required.
  • For an A2 level certificate, 1825 days of legal residence are required.
  • Out of the 365 days preceding the submission of the application, no more than 90 days of stay outside Cyprus are allowed.

To ensure a favorable review of the application, it is recommended to provide a property title deed. Rental agreements are also accepted.

Procedure for Obtaining Fast-Track Citizenship

Application Submission to Migration Department

Once all the necessary documents are prepared, we submit the application to the Migration Department and receive a submission receipt.

Review and Approval

Within 2-3 months of submitting the application, an interview will be scheduled, the duration of which will vary depending on the individual case. During the interview, your personal background, ties to Cyprus, language and cultural knowledge, as well as your level of integration into society, will be assessed.

Oath of Allegiance and Issuance of Naturalization Certificate

We will assist you in visiting the District Court of Nicosia to take the oath of allegiance. After that, we will accompany you to the Migration Department to submit the necessary documents for the issuance of your ID and passport.

The passport can be issued on the same day, while the ID may take up to two weeks to be issued.
